The first Saturday of every month Home Depot has a craft/activity/project for kids to do for free. Home Depot gives the kids an apron and after completing the project they get a pin to put on their apron that has a picture and the name of the project they completed. Some of the kids go every month so they have an apron full of pins. The first time Dave took Zach it was a nightmare. He freaked out and wouldn't put the goggles on or sit in the chair by himself. Julianne was just a baby then so it has been almost two years since he last went. Dave, being the awesome dad that he is, took the kids to Home Depot by himself to let them participate in March's fun activity. When they got home the kids were so happy and proud of what they had accomplished. Dave said that Zach was timid at first but then he got so into it. He was hammering like crazy and felt so happy after he had completed his project, a two-lane raceway. Dave showed me the pictures he took on his phone of the kids in their goggles and I just about died laughing. Every time I look at these pictures I crack up, especially the one of Zach. Too cute!
The minute Dave and the kids got to the kids craft area Julianne jumped right into a chair, put on the goggles and started to "talking" to the other kids like she owned the place.
Are you kidding me! What a CUTE little face.

hahaha! too bad she's not doing the "pout" face with those goggles-that would be too much cuteness for me to handle!
